Those bags still don’t make sense to me but at least it lets me know my statue is brand new. I totally appreciate that because those are the most delicate parts of the statue and I know I’m pretty accident prone. The wings also have some soft foam jammed into the curves for a little extra protection.

The foam itself is good and thick and the statue pieces fit in nice and firm.

It fits inside the box pretty snugly and its kind of heavy and unwieldy so I recommend getting a friend to help you when opening it. The foam encased statue is a little difficult to get out. The box is collector friendly of course, it’s very easy to open with out damaging the contents. I really like the feel of the box too, it’s really smooth and nice but not glossy.
ARCHANGEL X FORCE FULL
The back has some really nice full color pictures of the statue and of Archangel. The front has the name and logos in gold and the sides have the X-Force logo raised from the surface. I’m a little disappointed it didn’t come with a certificate of authenticity but the box and the statue are both individually numbered. It’s a pretty big box and a little weirdly proportioned in my opinion but I’m sure there was a reason for making it that size. The box measures 9in wide, 19in tall and 18in wide. The statue comes in a medium weight cardboard box. It’s going to look awesome next to my Psylocke Danger Room statue.
ARCHANGEL X FORCE SERIES
X-Force is one of my favorite comic book series and as Psylocke’s love interest Archanglel was kind of a must. I first saw this statue at New York Comic Con 2011 at the Kotobukiya booth and I knew I had to have it. This statue came to me with my Lady Deadpool mini bust so it’s a recent acquisition. Blog post number 2! I’m going to be doing another statue review, this time the Kotobukiya X-Force Archangel.
